The inaugural Big Picture Fest was held over 23 to 25 March in Frankston. For more info on the event, check out their web site.
As part of the Fest, Ted’s Cameras and Canon ran some walking tours of the art sites, offering tips for getting interesting photos from the urban landscape. Of course, having some great artworks painted onto the buildings always helps make it more interesting! The downside? It was pouring!
At one point the rain was so heavy, the downpipes and drains weren’t able to keep up.
At this point, I’d like to point out that while the event was arranged by Canon, I’m an Olympus guy. And Olympus put some pretty damn awesome weather-proofing into their cameras. Never been more glad of that attention to detail and quality!
